Met up with Kaleen this afternoon to send her off at the airport. She's going to Kuala Lumpur for her job training. We had Popeye (delicious!) with her boyfriend as well. (he's going there to accompany her.. so sweet) Well, didn't have any pictures with her as she said she don't look good today.. ???!!! LOL! (for me, I just take whenever I feel like, even though I don't look good, haha... like today, for instance)
Anyway, her flight is at 5pm, Singapore Airlines. I accompanied her to check in at around 4pm but was told that it was overbooked! We took around 1 hour to settle everything. Poor coordination with the staffs. (I can't reveal the details for certain purposes here) Anyway, wth... SQ... I can't believe it. They wanted to cut cost that's why seats were given to those who had checked in earlier even though they may have bought the tickets last minute. Therefore, those people that had bought the tickets but haven't check in wasn't given any priority.
I just feel that this is not quite right. They shouldn't assume that passengers wouldn't turn up. Somemore it's a KL flight. Hello? Who would take SQ flight to KL? Erm, i mean less likely lah, unless the person has nowhere else to spend... choose to spend on a 55min flight. Obviously, it's very likely that it's a business trip right? They should make better arrangements for all these, I seriously think so.
