Australia- Brisbane
Day 1 of trip, 2nd Feb 2009

Brisbane was considered warm compared to Sydney and Melbourne, but not as humid as Singapore. After chucking my backpack in the hostel, I went exploring around Brisbane with the help of maps.

So you see, nurses are noble okay?

This was the best scenery I could found in Brisbane. LoL~

Random pics...

Their Chinatown. =_- Didn't manage to shop around there much because the shops closes very early, like 5 or 6pm and I think I reached there around 8pm! Too many things to see, too little time!

Well well, Singapore flyer is still the largest in the world. (Or second largest, I can't remember)

Run out of background so use this as a background. HAHA.

Not bad right? Got the European feel.

While waiting for the traffic lights to turn green, here I am again.

If I remember correctly, I ate around 5-6 doughnuts throughout my trip! Years ago, doughnuts was boring to me. Then came J.CO, I started to get addicted because I simply like the taste and It melts in my mouth after chewing for a second or two, unlike those traditional doughnuts from those neighbourhood bakery shops.
When my friend told me Krispy Kreme doughnut is nice, I immediately gave it a try without hestitation. Believe it or not, I simply couldn't resist it. I couldn't say no whenever I passed by the shop in Australia.
By the way, Krispy Kreme is only available in Australia for the moment.
So if any of you are thinking of visiting Australia, this is a must-try.
On my flight back to Singapore at Melbourne Airport, I bought back a dozen of those! Loves!

The sky started to turn dark all of the sudden and I had to run!

What am I pointing at at the moment??? I couldn't remember... -_____- Haha.

Ours is still nicer right?

This is Nerang station. The bus had just left when we arrived there therefore we have to wait for the next bus which is around 45minutes later so I grabbed some bite while waiting... and it's ice cream!!! Yummy! We were leaving Brisbane and heading to Gold Coast then~

And... this is Nerang station!

Got bored during the journey of around 1 hour plus... so decided to cam whore~

Another shot.

Oh my goodness. Am I so short? Ha. Anyway, this is one of the cathedral at Brisbane. Cannot remember the name though.

This was a self-taken picture. We set timer. Not a bad aiming except that it was too far. But no choice because we couldn't find the correct height to place the camera.

Helloooo... Anyone's home?

Alright, that's the end of Brisbane... Tata~~
