One of my colleague, M was too stressed over work and so she jio me and CL for lunch at Holland Village in order to destress. Well, we took a cab down and stopped by somewhere near sushi tei. Crossed over to have our main dish at the food centre. I had the sliced fish hor fun, looks bland but i supposed it's a healthier choice. The hawker was rather generous with the beansprouts (although the famous nasi lemak looks tempting) but i wouldn't want to feel guilty having that. C had the typical seafood hor fun while M chose the gong bao ji.

After eating, M suggested to have coffee over at n.y.d.c.. while there were other suggestions, we decided to stick to that. I was about 7/10 full but not wanting to be a spoilsport or anything, i agreed without hestitant.

Presenting to you the n.y.d.c menu by M. Lol. The three of us had solid gold (a name for the desert above) Rich chocolate cheesecake with a layer of oreo chocolate underneath, a scoop of chocolate chip ice-cream and a generous serving of accessories-->the sweet syrup. M complained that it was too sweet and she couldn't take it. She complained that her babelicious latte was too sweet as well. Basically, she's an anti-sweet stuff woman.

My love potion. Basically it's just whipped cream (as you can see, the "bubble" on the top), with 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream and strawberries beneath. I wanted to scoop up the strawberries which i love most, too bad it had been buried by the melted whitish creamy stuff on top. Fantastically huge. Didn't expect so. Cried for help. Don't want to add an additional inch to my waistline. =/

Initiated to take some pics while waiting to be served. C and M posing for a rare pic (Well, someone keeps complaining she doesn't look good on photos) =p

Look how happy Cindy was with her french vanilla earl cooler.

Pooh! But this is not mine. This was a gift to my colleague, RJ on her last day in my dept. She is going back to school, currently a science student in NUS. Been tempting in my department for a month or so. Anyway, she's an A* student (HCJC graduate). Let's just wish her all the best in her studies!

Looking at the pooh RJ has, i decided to get myself a baby pooh too. I was choosy. (wanted to choose the "cutest" one) Finally got one off the shelf at NUH, pharmacy. Finally he has a new home. Look at how he was dressed by me and my colleague, J (hiding behind). By the way, this pooh costs only 8 bucks compared to 18 bucks outside. Value for money.
