Just reached home not long and decided to type this entry before another week starts again.

Woke up around 9am (although i slept at 4am last night) cos i have to gather information for my project before meeting my coursemates for discussion in the noon.

The moment i get out of bed, i could feel that my body was aching badly, with bruises on my palm, butt and ankle =/. I could hardly lift up my hand straight(especially my left hand). Then, i realized that i should have apply some zam-buk before the bruises become visible. (Didn't feel any pain straight away after those falls) As a result, my speed of dressing up was 2 times slower than usual as my glenohumeral joint (shoulder joint) hurts. In fact, the pain radiates all the way from my shoulder to elbow.

Suffered those bruises due to my stubborness--> That's why prevention is better than cure. Had gained nothing but pain. Then i begin to PROMISED myself (in my heart) to take care from now on. DRINK MORE WATER and no more late nights whenever possible.

My project meeting was cancelled. Two of them cannot make it. Sigh. We don't really have much time left. Anyway, it's alright as my parents are going down to Parkway Giant supermarket to do some last min Chinese New Year shopping. They have lots to carry so i thought of sacrificing my revision time to go with them to help up. My dad says GIANT has more varieties and its cheaper.

It was SUPER heavy. I meant it. My brother and i swept away many good buys (with discount) and we were pushing 2 trolleys. That's how much we bought. Nearly $200 in total. I was not the one paying but decided to chip in $50 in the end.
Dine in at Parkway Parade Thai Restaurant as it was relatively cheap for a buffet. Upon reaching the entrance, we realized that it cost $2 more per pax than the last time we went. However, since it was our original plan, we decided to go in anyway.

Went to shop for some clothes for chinese new year (although i don't really like to try on clothings after my meal) But time is limited (CNY is just 7 days from now)

My first stop was G2000. Tried on a white boot cut pants with thin vertical black strips. Not bad but on second thought, i decided not to buy it after staring at the price tag for around 10 seconds. LOL. $59. "JC, you are saving up now, please do not buy on impulse, wait for the sale and control yourself", i told myself.

Next, went to a store called "The Station". Saw one black blouse which looks quite nice. It was those translucent lacy kind, with a piece of black spagetti strap beneath. Was thinking that it could be quite suitable to wear to work but it was not cheap as well. I was quite reluctant to buy although the salesperson had told me to get 2 and i will be entitled to get the second piece @ 40% less discount. Sales gimmick again. $65 for just a small piece of cloth. I am not going to buy it.

I was so thankful because i went to check out on another boutique called "2 Shy" (which is also my last station). I was kinda attracted by the name of the shop and i made my way in. My eyes was glued to one particular white dress which i thought was really nice. It's one of those baby doll kind. White was my favourite colour all along as i think it symbolizes purity and peacefulness.

Without further hestitation (even forgot to check the price tag), i went into the changing room. Woo, REALLY nice. Overheard a guy who told his gf that it looks very nice on me and he asked his gf to try and see whether she can achieve the same results. Haha.

Too bad, the last newest piece was taken by me. The gal don't wish to have the last piece hanging outside.

Also bought one black and white polka dot tube cum skirt from the same store. Polka dots is the trend now. Anyway, it can be worn either as a tube or a skirt which cost less than 25 bucks. When worn as a tube, one will need to wear a tights or a slim jeans underneath.

Soon after, my family and I made our way to the taxi stand. Super long queue. There were not many cabbies coming in at this hour. Then, my dad suggested walking further down towards Still Road to wait. Those shopping bags were really heavy and arms were aching.

Finally, managed to flag down one taxi after about 40mins of waiting and walking. (never knew that shopping can also be so tired)

I was quite satisfied with my purchases today. Cheap and nice. Never buy on impulse. Even if its really nice, look around first.

Mood: Tiring but satisfied
